Right of withdrawal for consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

For a contract for the supply of goods, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

If you ordered several goods as part of a single order that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item of goods.

If goods are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or piece.

For contracts for the supply of services, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

You may use the model withdrawal form set out below, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from your choosing a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

For contracts for the supply of goods, we may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

Cost of returning goods

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

For goods that cannot normally be returned by post due to their nature, the direct costs of return are estimated at a maximum of EUR 150.00.

Compensation for diminished value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Early commencement of installation and other services

If you have expressly requested that we begin a chargeable installation or other service already during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount in the event of withdrawal.

This amount corresponds to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point at which you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal for services

For a contract for the provision of services that obliges you to pay a price, the right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed, provided that you expressly agreed, before the service began, that we could commence performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and confirmed your knowledge that your right of withdrawal expires upon full performance of the contract by us.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for custom-made goods

Where the statutory requirements are met, the right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by you is decisive, or that are clearly tailored to your personal needs.

This may in particular concern products manufactured, processed, painted or personalised according to your individual specifications, provided the statutory requirements for excluding the right of withdrawal are met in the specific case.
